Open Access, License and Copyright Policy
Publicus is an open-access scholarly journal. All articles published in the journal are made freely and fully accessible online immediately upon publication. No access fees are charged to readers.
All content published in the journal is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license. Under this license:
- Content may be shared and distributed, provided that appropriate attribution is given.
- Content may not be used for commercial purposes.
- Content may not be modified, and no derivative works may be created.
Publicus adopts the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license. Accordingly, authors retain the copyright of their published articles. Authors grant Publicus the right of first publication and agree that their work will be made publicly available under the terms of the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license. The journal does not charge authors any article processing charges (APCs) during the submission, review, or publication processes, and no royalties are paid for published works. Publicus supports the free circulation of scientific knowledge in line with the universal principles of open access and conducts its publishing policies in accordance with international open access standards.
