Abstract

This report evaluates the NIG (Netherlands Institute of Governance) 2025 Conference, which can be described as the Netherlands' national public administration congress, held at Ghent University in Belgium between February 6-7, 2025. In this report, you will find both information about the event and the author's personal observations.

  • Aslı YILMAZ UÇAR, Leiden Üniversitesi

    Aslı Yılmaz Uçar, doktora sonrası araştırmacı olarak Leiden Üniversitesi Kamu Yönetimi Enstitüsü'nde çalışmaktadır. Doktora sonrası araştırmasından önce, Altınbaş Üniversitesi'nde kamu yönetimi doçenti olarak çalışmış ve burada lisans ve lisansüstü düzeylerde Kamu Yönetimine Giriş, Türk İdari Sistemi, Yerel Yönetimler, Kamu Politikası Analizi gibi kamu yönetimi dersleri vermiştir.

    Yılmaz Uçar'ın uzmanlık alanı, kurumsal dönüşümün siyaseti ve siyaset - bürokrasi ilişkileridir. Araştırmalarında hem amprik yöntemleri hem de eleştirel söylem analizini kullanmaktadır. Doktora sonrası araştırması kapsamında, Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi yönetimindeki Türkiye'de devletin yeniden yapılanmasına dair ampirik veri toplamakta ve kurumsal dönüşümün siyasetini çalışmaktadır. Diğer taraftan, Türkiye'de siyasal iktidarın bürokrasiyi kontrolünün bir aracı olarak bürokratik atamaları çalışan bir araştırma grubunun üyesidir. Bu proje kapsamında, son 40 yıldaki bürokratik atama verileri toplanmış ve Türk kamu yönetimindeki siyasallaşmayı incelemek için analiz edilmiştir.
